Centrally located at Gentle-Annie is New Zealand's only restaurant in a once operating cowshed. Situated facing the sea, surrounded by gardens and grassy play areas,  eating is enjoyed either outdoors or indoors in a lovingly restored shed with local timbers and fish pond set amongst ferns. The Cowshed is an ideal venue for functions such as weddings, conventions and family reunions. Open seasonally and functions can be arranged for anytime of the year. Hours vary. B.Y.O liqour licence.
